The GOB

Good Ole' Boys: The term was originally used to describe the social, legal, and political associations among white men in the south. It has become a way to describe exclusive networks of white men throughout the U.S.

Cops, politicians, lawyers, and judges are mainly the associates.

The Good Ole' Boys motivation is to keep the status quo in place. They are driven by their own social ideologies and greed. They don't like outsiders and they especially exclude northerners and women. They will do anything to protect their own, and beware they'll get you while they are sporting a kind smile right before they shoot you or frame you.

I call them the Southern Mafia!

Good Ole’ Boys exist in a "club" but there is no foundation. Where is this club? They do not have members only log books, and they don't receive written invitations to join the club, yet our society knows they have existed for generations but cannot prove it. They belong to a secret society and hide who they really are, much like the Ku Klux Klan hiding under their robes. Who is part of this secret club? They don't leave paper trails, they are masters of cover-ups. They receive many benefits from being in this club; such as, bribes they call favors, unwarranted promotions, and manipulation of the legal system. What do they have to do for greedy bribes?

They are dedicated and will do anything for so and so's cousin, aunt, brother, and father's step sisters oldest son's youngest daughter's adopted son's cousin, etc.

To be continued...

  1. I didn't know the GOB still existed these days. I am shocked by all this. There really aren't many stories written about them. I will keep my eye on this blog for updates. I love reading true stories. I hope this book comes out soon? Cathy
