Hello, first I'd like to say I'm very sorry for what you've been through. I'm fascinated by your story. Being drugged in court is hard to believe, but believable. I'm curious as to what they drugged you with?
ReplyDeleteThank you and I agree it is inconceivable, yet believable. We were heavily drugged with Diuretics. It was an act of Southern trickery to destroy the rhythm of our case and our credibility, along with other intensions as well. Unfortunately, it's common in the South.

ReplyDeleteHi Lee it's me Max again! I like your site. I think your writing is great. Most authors that write about their own lives usually write with "I" but you are writing in third party like a novel. Have you considered writing from you to the reader? It might make it more personal?
ReplyDeleteCommon in the South? I've never heard such a thing before and I'm disgusted by what people are capable of these days. I wonder if this kind of thing happens everywhere and more often then we know? I can't imagine being drugged by diuretics or anything else that doesn't belong in my body. My sympathy to you for the injustice you've experienced in the south. I promise you Karma will get these people! I agree this would make a good movie and your book sounds promising. Society really needs to know about this. I will keep you in my prayers!

I've considered writing this book from me to the reader, but it was easier to write in 3rd party because it has been very difficult to write and then read what I've written...the memories of what happened are frightening and I am still recovering emotionally. I have hopes that my book will be in print this year (2012).
